I bet Molly and Lestrade lost their jobs. I bet Molly got found out like 2 or 3 days after Reichenbach when it was discovered that there was a missing body and she got the fucking boot. And Lestrade got busted for using Sherlock on these cases when he wasn’t a registered detective after his suicide and he was put on a probation of some sort, and he felt so guilty over Sherlock’s death that his performance was starting to decline and he was let go. I bet Lestrade still feels like shit over that. And Molly feels horrible because she has to keep lying to everyone.

ibelieveinmartinfreeman: victortrevor: #moment to dwell on the fact that lestrade’s world is pretty much rocked and flipped upside down at this point #there’s basically no way he genuinely thought sherlock was actually a fake #especially since he was around when sherlock was a junkie #he saw sherlock doing the things he could do sober when he was high out of his mind #but he was backed into a corner by everyone else by his superiors and he had no choice but to go along with them #and now not only is he dealing with this guilt over sherlock’s death #he’s most likely lost his job #or he’s been demoted to a position that’s so beneath him and his skill set they might as well have fired him #he’s lost almost everyone’s respect including his SELF RESPECT #it’s a high probablity john watson wants nothing to do with him now #and all of this because he was a victim of shrapnel from the sherlock and moriarty explosion

I assume that’s a consequence of their shading style, rather than a deliberate alteration. Yeah, there isn’t much shading at all here. I’m very much against white washing, of course, but pencil sketches fairly devoid of any shading don’t tend to be classified as white washing, at least from what I’ve read from several anti whitewashing sites (which focus on Katniss and Korra and the white washing in those characters’ related fan art). hey there! Sorry if some view this as whitewashing, which I’m very much against, but it was not intentional and was a stylistic choice since the inking is pretty minimal. Apologies that that wasn’t clear! /facepalms
